Andy Bree

Owner and luthier, Andy Bree, attributes his success as a luthier to his time spent as a professional guitarist, a technician in live music, and to the countless hours that others have dedicated to helping him hone the craft. At 35, the guitar has been attached to him since age 12...

Andy opened Big Sound Guitar Repair in 2016, which became Braxton Guitars in 2020. 

In addition to Braxton Guitars, Andy is a full-time touring guitar and backline technician...most recently with Paul Gilbert, Kurt Vile, Jenny Lewis and Ani DiFranco.

2023 brings the next step...Braxton & Hyde, a partnership with Philadelphia luthier, Ryan Hyde...a one-stop shop for Philly's best custom builds and repairs.
